Happy to see them go.

I hope they continue to do charity work, but was never a fan of seeing them on tv.

Man...no love for some of the iconic mascots in Redskins history? Outside of Chief Zee, these guys are the fan representatives of the Redskins. I thought it was only fans of other teams who bagged on them...never realized there were so many haters from within the B&G. They're probably some of the toughest dudes in the stadium on any given game day!

I always liked them, growing up in the 80's during the hay day they were iconic! I remember my day and all of his friends would wear hog noses. Sad to see them go, I am wondering if others will pick up where they are leaving off...

I actually know a couple and think they're very nice guys. I just thing grown men in dresses and pig snouts had the novelty wear off 20 years ago and is just embarrassing at this stage. I give them a ton of credit for the charity work and like I said nice guys, but when other fans use the cross dressing thing as smack talk anytime my team comes up in mixed company it speaks volumes. It's not endearing any more, other fans just think it's weird and a little creepy. You can get away with that kind of stuff when you're winning but with no corresponding Hogs and a 20 year span of ineptitude only matched by a few clubs it just doesn't come off the same. There's no hate whatsoever.

I feel sorry for Pez, but the novelty wore off long ago. They were a great thing back in the glory days, but should've hung it up at some point in the 90s after the Hogs were ancient history. Still, let's not lose sight of the fact that these guys did all kinds of excellent charity work and should be admired for that.

I hope they burn those house dresses. Man did they smell bad in the summer! :) Long overdue, those guys have had a great run but their era has been over for some time now. A great part of our past, unfortunately, the new generation of fans will just never get the hogs or the hogettes. All the charity events and fundraisers sure will miss them more than most of the fanbase. I'm sure they'll come out of retirement once and a while to give a nod to the old guard. Congrats on your retirement fellas!

I sort of agree that they Hogs have seemed oddly out of place for quite a few years now. I also agree that it's time the Redskins develop some new traditions that fit the times a little better. Having a second era of NFC East dominance would help inspire that.

Btw - I'm getting tired of the 'haters' moniker. If a member wants to address individual opinions directly, then do it. Otherwise, let's avoid that generalization.

Man, they can't smell as bad as Super Skin's spandex suit in the summer...yikes!

We now have "RG3 Woman."

A little softer on the eyes than the Hoggettes also. ;)

Just when I think you couldn't get any dumber...

You go and TOTALLY REDEEM YOURSELF!!!!!

That 'hater' sidebar was not directed at Lanky in particular btw, I just don't like throwing big chunks of our membership (or Redskins fans in general for that matter) under the bus as 'haters' because they disagree with the 'correct' position on a topic. We can respectfully agree to disagree without resorting to belittling our fellow fans. That's all.

Makes me feel sad. They were iconic and a link to a part of the team's history I never got to experience since
