ASHBURN, Va. — On a national stage Monday night, Jim Zorn will sprint out to FedEx Field wearing burgundy and gold, as he carries an uncomfortable cloak of diminished responsibility: He will lead, but he must now follow, right to the inevitable end.
The embattled head coach no longer will be in his quarterback's ear. After the Washington Redskins (2-4) lost to another winless team last week, Zorn was forced to relinquish his chief duty to Sherman Lewis, 67, a former NFL assistant coach who two weeks ago was calling bingo games in a retirement center.

You would think, but why hasn't the light bulb gone off before now? I'd be willing the bet he has people reading papers, internet, and all forms of media to give him reports on what everyone is saying.

Problem is his arrogance and ego won't let him change.
