When the NFLPA handed out its team grade cards for 2025, the Pittsburgh Steelers didn't do well. Overall, the team ranked 27 out of 32 based on the information provided by players, which was based on 11 different categories. One of those categories was the locker room and player facilities.
In this category, the Steelers got a D and only five teams were worse. One of those teams was the Washington Commanders, who got an F. The Washington ownership took these criticisms seriously and gave their locker room an amazing makeover. Washington unveiled their new digs in this hype video, and all we could think about is the substandard locker room of the Steelers and how the ownership seems content to leave it as is.
Unfortunately for the Steelers, the locker room grade wasn't Pittsburgh's worst. The team ranked dead last for the strength coaches. They were 30th in nutrition, 28th in weight room and 28th in ownership. We don't expect to see the Steelers address any of these issues, including the locker room, as the Rooneys seem very content to just get by with what they already have.
