Yahoo Sports See it: Jayden Daniels throws dime to Deebo Samuel to begin training camp

It didn't take Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels long to connect with his new wide receiver Deebo Samuel. Washington opened training camp on Wednesday in a big way, as Daniels found Samuel with an absolutely perfect throw for a touchdown despite tight coverage from safety Tyler Owens.

Fortunately for all of us, the Commanders have provided the highlight.

The play had everyone talking.

Jayden Daniels first pass in 11-11: dropped an over the shoulder dime to Deebo Samuel on a slot fade. Tyler Owens was right there. Throw beat him

It's especially impressive considering Daniels and Samuel never played together until this spring. The good thing is that Samuel was present for all offseason work, working on his timing with Daniels. With Terry McLaurin holding out, it's an excellent opportunity for Daniels to establish a rapport with others, including Samuel.

It should be fun watching Daniels and Samuel throughout training camp.
