It should occur sometime between 11:45pm and 12:45am. Target will be somewhere between Canada and the west coast of Africa.

For those living anywhere in the east (if it is somewhat clear, partly cloudy, or clear), you may have a chance to see it re-enter over the eastern horizon. It would be over the Atlantic Ocean, but high enough for those in eastern states to see it.

Somewhere between Canada and the West Coast of Africa. I'm so glad they've narrowed it down so much for us!

If it is down, then the area is quite remote. No reports of it being seen during re-entry.

It could be delayed and if that is the case, then the eastern U.S. is in the crosshairs coming up soon.

Looks like it came down a bit earlier than expected. It began re-entry over the eastern Pacific and the debris field is completely over land - western Canada.

There are several pieces of debris scattered over Ototoks - a town just south of Calgary. One piece left a crater. I'm sure there will be pictures later today.

Here is the track of the debris field...

Here is the first video of the satellite re-entry. Maybe there will be others.

How can this be real? Nasa is still saying it came apart and went down over the Pacific, and they claim there have been no reports anywhere of it hitting land.

If this is indeed true, this is in our buddy Ryman's neck of the woods.

If Ryman was up and looking outside, he would've seen it. I have a cousin who lives in Calgary - she didn't see it, but both of her sons were able to watch it.

Here is a video of it from Blaine, WA.
