Remains of the first American lost in the 1991 Persian Gulf War have been found in the Anbar province of Iraq after a nearly 20-year search, the U.S. Navy said Sunday.

my heart goes out to his family. maybe they still had hope that he might still be alive. i pray that this will somehow bring them peace and closure.

kudos to the military for remembering their own. after 20 yrs, the country forgot about him and moved on, they didn't.

His poor family. It must have been agonizing to not know for sure where he was or what happened to him for nearly 2 decades. I pray that this finding will help bring them some closure.
