WASHINGTON REDSKINS TO INTRODUCE SIX-TIME PRO BOWL QUARTERBACK DONOVAN McNABB ON TUESDAY, APRIL 6

WHO: Quarterback Donovan McNabb

WHAT: Introductory Press Conference

WHEN: Tuesday, April 6: Noon

WHERE: Redskins Park Auditorium

The Washington Redskins will hold a press conference to welcome six-time Pro Bowl quarterback Donovan McNabb on Tuesday, April 6, at noon at Redskins Park. Executive Vice President/Head Coach Mike Shanahan will introduce the 11-year veteran.

The Redskins acquired McNabb from the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in exchange for their second round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft and a draft choice in the 2011 NFL Draft.

McNabb currently has the third-highest winning percentage among active quarterbacks (92-49-1, .651) behind and Tom Brady (97-30-0, .764) and Peyton Manning (131-61-0, .682).

Since entering the NFL in 1999, McNabb ranks third in completions (2,801), third in passing yards (32,873), fourth in passing touchdowns (216), 14th in quarterback rating (86.5) and third in passes of 25 or more yards (273). McNabb also holds the best interception percentage in NFL history (2.1%) among quarterbacks who have played in 75 or more games.

I have to wonder if the Skins will try to deal Campbell BEFORE the Press Conference in order to avoid questions about what they're going to do with him. Otherwise, you KNOW it will come up.

Read earlier that Shanahan is expected to address Campbell's situation tomorrow. Not sure if done before, during, or after press conference.

Thanks. It would make more sense to take their time and try to get the best deal for Campbell and we may not know that for a few days.
