Good time as any to transition from Preseason to Regular Season regarding the roster. Kick it off with your first official depth chart.
This man is built for the backfield. When we drafted him my brain put him at slot but this guy is stout and can move...
IMHO this is not on Haskins. Quinn is established with position on the LB. In the process of the throw, Quinn slid out of the hole. AT WORST this should have been an incomplete pass if no. 46 makes a good play. The ball was low so there was no real way the defender can get over the top of Quinn.. it's either a catch or an incomplete pass if Quinn doesn't slide.
Or...if Haskins recognizes the LB crashing down, sees Quinn move to the open space, there is room for a big gain?
LB is breaking because Haskins was looking at Quinn almost the whole way. Quinn did break out of it, but the pass should never have been thrown.
Quinn may have some responsibility, but I would not give Haskins a pass.
It's difficult to tell without knowing the route.
Haskins stares down Quinn the entire time and throws to the spot where Quinn is/was. Quinn continues the route as if that's not where the pass is supposed to go.
Quinn may have some responsibility, but I would not give Haskins a pass.
And won't. There is a reason the odds makers are saying he will be the first QB benched for non injury related reasons.Have you ever...lol?
