I was extremely excited when they drafted him, once I put together who he was...and what I'd seen in the AAC games I watched. he completely took over games, especially the regular season finale that decided the AAC.This man is built for the backfield. When we drafted him my brain put him at slot but this guy is stout and can move...
Or...if Haskins recognizes the LB crashing down, sees Quinn move to the open space, there is room for a big gain?
IMHO this is not on Haskins. Quinn is established with position on the LB. In the process of the throw, Quinn slid out of the hole. AT WORST this should have been an incomplete pass if no. 46 makes a good play. The ball was low so there was no real way the defender can get over the top of Quinn.. it's either a catch or an incomplete pass if Quinn doesn't slide.
LB is breaking because Haskins was looking at Quinn almost the whole way. Quinn did break out of it, but the pass should never have been thrown.
Quinn may have some responsibility, but I would not give Haskins a pass.
It's difficult to tell without knowing the route.
Haskins stares down Quinn the entire time and throws to the spot where Quinn is/was. Quinn continues the route as if that's not where the pass is supposed to go.
