Nice classy fan with the right perspective. Good to hear.Smonroe
I'm for letting all the talking heads do their endless comparisons. I think RG3 is a quality kid and I hope he has a great career.
Whether he does or not has no bearing on how Luck's career goes. A meaningless preseason game means nothing in the long run.
Actually this is quite a change. A couple of years ago-when they still had Peyton-they were among the snottiest, snide, aristocratic-and-overflowing-with-condescension fans out there (Patriots fans were worse!). Losing Peyton and going 2-14 actually brought them a little closer to earth. However, old habits die hard and so there is probably some lingering effect from all those years of being patronizing and elitist.I really don't understand Colts fans seeming chip on their shoulder in re RGIII. It's as if because all of the spotlight has not been on Luck in the offseason these folks feel disrespected.
I don't get it. The Colts have been a regular media darling team for years with Manning.
They tanked last season as opposed to the Redskins who actually tried to win their games, they got the #1 pick and selected the top rated player.
Be happy this isn't the NBA where you would have tanked all those games and likely lost Luck to the Cardinals or Bills in a lottery.

G., I don't have time to do a full. Recon-type,breakdown due to the Bucs game coming up so soon but I can give you a feel for the main things I have found after scanning a few after-the-game threads.Serv, if you have time, and only if you do, I'd be really interested to read their impressions of how the game went. Some in particular were pretty forthright in their opinions...
