No - I don't mean they can only read children's books :)

Great cause - if you are going to the game tomorrow, don't forget to bring a children's book with you. You can also donate at DC-area Barne's and Nobles for the next several weeks.

WASHINGTON REDSKINS CHARITABLE FOUNDATION TO HOST THE FIFTH ANNUAL REDSKINS READ CHILDREN’S BOOK DRIVE

WHO: Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation, Everybody Wins! D.C. and Barnes & Noble Booksellers are teaming up to host the fifth annual Redskins Read Children’s Book Drive.

WHAT: The kickoff of this year’s book drive will be a stadium collection event held this Sunday, Sept. 23 at FedExField when the Redskins play the Cincinnati Bengals.

This children’s book drive, part of the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation’s Redskins Read literacy initiative, will collect new children’s books that will redistributed throughout the Washington Redskins market to children that could otherwise not afford to purchase books.

Fans are encouraged to bring new children’s books to the game on Sept. 23 and drop them off in the collection bins that will be stationed around the stadium or to make their book donation at any of the 13 participating Barnes & Noble Booksellers stores beginning Saturday, Sept. 22 and running through Saturday, Oct. 6.

If fans wish to make a monetary donation or are unable to attend the game, cash or checks will be accepted both at the game and checks may be mailed to the Charitable Foundation. All checks should be made payable to the “Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation” (a 501c3 nonprofit organization).

Donations can also be sent to the Washington Redskins Charitable Foundation c/o Redskins Read Children’s Book Drive, 21300 Redskin Park Drive, Ashburn, Va. 20147. All funds collected will be used to purchase additional books for area children by Everybody Wins! D.C.
