WTF? Why?
He just played and destroyed the Jags this past Sunday...Saquon Barkley has had a serious injury in the Bucs game. Had to be helped off the field.

Daniel Jones, franchise QBIf I were giving Daniel Jones a grade on his first NFL outing, he'd get a B+ from me (and considering this was his first NFL start on the road, that'd be an A- on a curve). He's calm in the pocket, has pretty good pocket awareness, was accurate on throws inside 20 yds or so, and can clearly burn you with his feet when the opportunity avails itself. He overthrew at least 3 deep passes, maybe more. That was one area where he was consistently lacking. And he's not a physical guy - if/when the pass rush gets to him, he's liable to cough it up. I'm not sure how durable he'll be if he insists on taking off downfield frequently.
I have to say, he impressed me. He definitely has a much stronger arm than all the draft profiles I read gave him credit for. If I were a Giants fan, I'd be pretty excited.
I think it's realistic to think the Giants will win at least 2-3 more games. They are solid on Defense and on occasion Danny Jones isn't the worst QB in the league. That puts them at 4-5 wins and likely out of reach of getting Ward or Sanders. They will be drafting the likes of Ewers or Beck depending on how things play out. But then this is the Giants... maybe they hold tight with Danny and take a RB. lolCan the Giants get inexplicably hot and win a couple more games so they have to reach for Carson Beck next year? That would be great, thaaaanks.,
They have Daniel Jones locked up long term.I'm not so sure that I'd be upset with the Giants getting any of next year's QBs.
I think the big question with both the Giants and Dallas is whether or not they blow up their coaching staffs again. I think barring a late season run, Daboll could be gone. It's hard to know what Jerruh will do, but based on what he is currently saying McCarthy may be safe at least for one more season. But who knows?
