The NFL has become a pass-first league over time, which only emphasizes the need for not only a great quarterback, but talented wide receivers, tight ends and even running backs who can catch the ball out of the backfield. The Rams have fielded some of the all-time greats throughout the franchise's history, including Hall of Famers Elroy Hirsch and Isaac Bruce.
Just in the Sean McVay era, the Rams have had star receivers all over their roster, from Sammy Watkins and Brandin Cooks to Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr. Puka Nacua is just the latest on the ever-growing list, too.
So, who are the single-game record-holders in the receiving category? Unsurprisingly, Holt and Kupp each hold a record, while Flipper Anderson's 336 yards against the Saints in 1989 has held up to this day as the most ever by any player in NFL history – not just Rams history.
Even Todd Gurley has a receiving record despite being a running back, though the stat for his record only dates back to 2016.
Most targets (since 1992): 21, Cooper Kupp (2024 vs. Lions)
Most receptions: 18, Tom Fears (1950 vs. Packers)
Most receiving yards: 336, Flipper Anderson (1989 vs. Saints)
Most yards per reception (min. 3 catches): 63.0, Torry Holt (2000 vs. Falcons)
Most touchdown catches: 4, four times
Most receiving 1st downs: 11, Torry Holt (2003 vs. Cardinals)
Most drops (since 2016): 3, two times
Most yards after catch (since 2016): 161, Todd Gurley (2017 vs. Titans)
