REDSKINS RELEASE OSHIOMOGHO ATOGWE AND MIKE SELLERS
ASHBURN, Va. – The Washington Redskins announced today that they have released safety Oshiomogho Atogwe (pronounced oh-SHIM-ago uh-TOG-way) and fullback Mike Sellers.
Atogwe completed his seventh season in the NFL and first with the Redskins in 2011. He played in 13 games with eight starts in 2011, finishing with 66 tackles (43 solo), three interceptions and 0.5 sacks.
In his 11 seasons (1998-2000, 2004-11) with the Redskins, Sellers played in 164 games with 56 starts, compiling 158 rushing yards on 50 attempts and 1,022 receiving yards on 116 receptions and 19 total touchdowns. Sellers played in 12 games in 2011. He finished the season with one reception for 15 yards.
