Boise State, huh. Going to be interesting to see how they react to being a favorite in a big-game setting. No more sneaking up on people with Statue of Liberty plays. And btw the blue field stopped being cute a couple years ago--now it's just oogly.

As to the 'noles ... I remember them. Vaguely. :moon:

Gonna be tough for FedEx Field to generate the energy of Lane Stadium. I'm anxious to see how loud it will get and if the Hokie fans can match or surpass the noise level of Skins fans.

Then again, I don't think ANYTHING can compare to the noise level of the '82 NFC Championship Game at RFK. Of course, that was RFK. Has FedEx ever come close to that?

I expect formal apologies from all you philistines after Tech finally puts this silly 'mid-majors should be allowed to play for the mythical BCS title' thing to rest tomorrow night.

Jesus. We better win. :paranoid:

Had to follow the UVa game yesterday on one of those graphic trackers....Virginia dogged the Richmond Spiders. Next week, on the road at USC. Talk about taking the competition up a couple of notches...

Good luck to your boys Om. UVa and Va Tech play the season finale - we ought to get tickets for that one and share some quality time :)

OK so, I grew up in PG County so I am a huge Terps fan, I am an alum of FSU and there is a Top Ten matchup tonight 20 minutes from me. I can't make up my mind.

MD v. Navy to show support for my Terps or a Top Ten match up at FedEx Field?

Edit: Decision made! I cannot pass up a Top Ten match up so close to home so early in the season. This should be a great game.

I am headed to FedEx field with my FSU gear on! I will be rooting for the Terps as I head down to the stadium.

Terps just took a 17-14 4th Quarter lead against a pesky Navy squad.

If Navy hadn't fumbled in the Redzone twice and missed a FG, they win this one. Great game to start of the season for both teams.

Really impressed by the Terps D and their run game (Meggett is a beast).

Really looking forward to the VT game. I hope Skins fans are watching. That noise that the Hokies are making, the Skins fans should be hoping to at worst match it on Sunday.....we better if we want to beat Dallas.

At the game and it was electric WD, until the Broncos shut them up quick!

Give Snyder credit, these big screens are awesome. Watched the end of the Terps game and it was great.

I'm not a big college football fan but that was an excellent game to watch.

It was. Not sure that VT didn't get jobbed at the end there with the non-call on what looked like pass interference to me, but can't blame the official for not wanting to make that call on a 4th down play with the game on the line. Not to take anything away from Boise State - they played a great game.
