NFL Pickem: Week 6 Results

[Boone]

Another wacky week in the NFL Pickem contest, with no player getting more than 10 correct picks. This week, Master Chief, Burgundy Burner and SNF were our leaders at 10-5, followed by a traffic jam of players at 9-4, including Shi No Tenshi, the Omniscient, Boone, Jimbo, Coolbreeze, and Neophyte.

Tugboat continues his stranglehold on our overall lead for the year, boasting an impressive 58-32 record. Breathing down his neck at 56-34 are a trio of players including Burgundy Burner, Shi No Tenshi, and micks113, followed by another trio - Jimbo, Boone and Elephant at 55-35.

Tough week overall for the NFL Pickem crowd, but still highly competitive

Week 7 looks scary-real scary.

You wanna know why? Because in some of the matchups the pick looks obvious.

Given this season so far-that looks like a recipe for disaster.

I haven't gained any ground the last couple of weeks. Fortunately the picking has been tough for everyone, so I haven't lost any ground either.

A 57% correct pick percentage would be great if I was picking against the spread, but straight up it ain't so hot. Still lots of time left to get back in it.

Stunned. Really stunned. Four or five games this week went down to the last moments. Just got lucky with some of those calls.

Yeah - and although tugboat has easily been the most consistent of us, the lead will likely remain in striking distance for almost everyone well into this season as we're all struggling (at least compared to last year). Going to be anyone's contest the rest of the way
