NFL Pickem: Week 15 Results

Week 15 was a cruel bitch. A 12-4 record was the best anyone could pull off, and that anyone was Jimbo. China, SNF, and Kelly were right on his heels with 11-3 records. Burgundy Burner, servumtuum, and the Omniscient were next in line with 10-6 performances. Seven players in all came in at 9-7. That makes this one of the tougher weeks of this NFL season.

Don't look now folks - but last year's winner Jimbo has steadily climbed up the ladder and this week seizes a tie for first place with Burgundy Burner with a 144-76 record. Tugboat stubbornly remains in contention at the number 3 spot with a 141-79 record. He is followed bySNF at 140-80, and micks113 and lovethebeer at 138-82. Most importantly, yours truly, once in contention had a second week of patheticness, resulting in a precipitous fall from the top ten

Week 15 was wicked. Hoping that 16 will be sweet indeed. The problems will be who tanks for better draft position, who plays hard - even though out of the playoffs, who folds under possible playoff pressure, who scores an upset, who plays lights out to get into the playoffs (or a better seeding/home field), and who coasts in to the playoffs. Tough stuff.

Despite my better performance these past couple of weeks, I'm still 8 games back. I'll need two perfect weeks in a row to even remotely have a chance. At this point I'll be happy to end up in the top 5.
