Newbie here after the loss of ES

Gotta say I’m liking this place more and more and really happy I found it. In my close to 20 years over at ES I rarely entered the tailgate because those topics and was the main reason I had issues with staff. Nice to know there is a place to go and “hang out” free of that.

Same. And I think Tailgate is one of the main reasons ES doesnt exist anymore.

There were a few threads over there that I will miss not being able to spy on. The political conversation in The Tailgate grew shockingly out of balance over the years.

I've got an issue if you could help...I re-registered on my phone, saved it to my apps, & moved it to my home screen.
But the site won't let me sign in on my puter, doesn't accept my password that I used on my phone. (It's a different puter from years past & I have a different email address now. )
When I wanted to reset, site said I'd get an email to do so...crickets.
Ftr, the bellsouth email is dead if that helps.

Hi All. Same as others, I just wanted to introduce myself (registered as Washington Mud Hog). Native Washingtonian and fan of all teams DC. To quote radio station callers, I was a longtime observer, infrequent participator on ES. I look forward to reading the banter and interesting insights. To start off, anyone here going to the game vs. Dallas? If so, any tailgate recommendations? I've got a buddy coming into town who's a longtime Dallas fan, so we've got a friendly 20+ year rivalry to continue.

I joined back in '09-ish when the site started, but I couldn't log in yesterday and my name isn't in the members list. So I guess I'm new here...even though I'm kinda not. Eh, I'm a professional lurker anyway

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I'm going to miss ES. Also possibly because I stuck to Stadium and only did Tailgate for Nationals talk, but I never thought the mods were bad. I did not have or see negative experiences yet perhaps I was in my own little ES bubble.

Anyways, I don't know if I'll be as active here as I was there, but I'll stop by for sure. R/Commanders on reddit as a lot of problems, feels like any reasonably written post or reply gets drowned out by incorrect statements or memes. But sometimes that's the nature of sports subreddits. Somehow r/nationals is better though.

P.S. I think it's time to update the Avatars. You can select Dan Snyder as an avatar but not Josh Harris? Boo that!
