NCAA Tournament Bracket Game

I wanted to throw this out to see if anyone on BGO wanted to do an NCAA bracket contest. I normally do one with friends and family. If there is enough interest, we can get one for BGO. To my knowledge, I don’t think we have ever done one on this site. If anyone is interested, post here. It will be for fun and I don’t think I have a prize to give out, but we can do it for bragging rights.

Fun idea - but I think we got too late a start here to pull it off.

We actually have the ability to run a contest with our pickem software, but honestly - it's just too much work to build the schedule and keep it up (it does not pull sporting event schedules, those have to be done manually).

I would definitely participate in a BGO bracket online though.

I did a lot of coin flipping as a result of watching a total of zero minutes of college basketball this past season. Go Blue!

I know CBS is getting serious and using real names, but I did want to let a couple of you know that your bracket status shows incomplete.

My bracket was incomplete because I forgot to put in my guess for total points in the final for tiebreaker purposes. I am thinking that might be the reason. All fixed now.

What a crazy first weekend. All the teams from the DMV are all gone. It seems the west coast is where all the good basketball is this year. Here are the standings after the first weekend.

Anyone else having trouble 'getting into' the NCAAs this go round? You'd think after missing them entirely last season, that I'd be all over it. Obviously when your team gets knocked out early, it is going to diminish your interest a little. But I literally have no desire to watch a game this time around. I don't know why?

I have not watched one minute this year, I really can't say why other than maybe because the season was so odd that it made it tough to get the mojo going to care.
