Fans should've expected as much from Betts.

The knock on him has always been (as Gregg Williams would say) availability.

He's been snake bit most of his career,which is a shame.

Hope he heals correctly and can finish out his career,somewhere in the league.

Maybe - but ligament tears don't really have much to do with toughness or durability - they're more about being in the wrong place at the wrong time in most instances.

A shame. Ladell is one of the good guys.
