According to Shanahan via the official Redskins Twitter feed, doctors report that Meriweather is likely to miss another 4 weeks due to his knee injury. Sigh. Shows how bad our secondary is when we're missing a guy like this!

3) Has been fined THREE times by the NFL, including 2 helmet-to-helmet hits.

5) Had a DWI earlier this year.

Doesn't sound like we're missing much.
Sounds more like a guy experiencing karma.
Hopefully him and Tanard Jackson take a one way ticket to the latest new fad copycat football league next season.

I don't remember the exact play but he dropped his head and went for the big hit when, if he had been smart and kept watching he could have had an INT. He is bone head looking for the big hit highlight reel, IMHO.

Yeah, I'm with Neo here. Madieu is playing like LaRon, IMO. Going for the big hit (I'm surprised he wasn't flagged a couple times for hits on a defenseless receiver, I'd imagine he's going to get a FedEx or two) but not really making any plays.

Also, don't know if it was Madieu or not, but Josh Wilson blamed cover-2 for Julio Jones' TD - either Williams or Doughty was supposed to be in coverage.
