Isn't it nice to see one of our best players get injured and his replacement step right in and the offense not really miss a beat in that department? This is how depth is supposed to work! So thank you for that Vinny, nice job.

Now, I know I know, considering the holes we had on both sides of the ball elsewhere, that pick could probably have been better used elsewhere, but Vinny evidently went BPA, and it is paying dividends now. I've always wondered what it is like to have successful draft picks not have to play right away and develop a little, and now I know. I like it.

Yes, I am desperate to find anything positive this week. Sue me.
