I recently stumbled across this series and found it to be very good. It is a 5 part series that walks us through the Industrial Revolution from the time just after the Civil War until Roosevelt started to bust up the Trusts. The series focuses on the pioneers of industry:

1.) Cornelius Vanderbilt
2.) John D. Rockefeller
3.) Andrew Carnegie
4.) J.P. Morgan
5.) Henry Ford

The series is a hollywood production and is repetitive at times, but overall it was a very good series.

We've been watching it as well, and are enjoying it. However, "repetitive at times" is the understatement of the century! LOL. I think they shot like 5 scenes with each actor, and replay them over and over and over. Its a good show though, but that's one of the things that annoys us about it. Not enough to dissuade us from watching though! Very informative also.

I have all of them recorded on the DVR, just need time to sit down and watch them!
