I believe I agree with you on this, Sarge-the creativity seems to have sunk to the level of current TV programming (something I find absolutely abysmal of late).

However, I did kinda like the one with Brett Favre in the year 2020.

And on a similar note-I couldn't bring myself to watch the halftime show. The Who?? Jesus, I was in freakin' high school when they arrived and I'm 61 now. Hey guys, you're one of the greatest rock bands of all time but for the love of God and my sense of okayness of the universe will you please just retire?!?. This is starting to get creepy now.
 
The commercials were lame this year. Did like the Night Show promo with Letterman, Leno, and Oprah. I thought the spot VW did with the punch buggy theme was good.

I have to agree that The Who was awful. They sure didn't sound anything like the did when I was coming along. Servumtuum, you have me by about 7-8 years, but second your motion on them needing to retire.

At least the wings I made were good.
 
The WHo were horrible. I guess this is what we're stuck with after Janet Jackson and whoever that dumbass was that ripped her shirt off and blew it for any kind of decent halftime show. The NFL knows they don't have to worry about old geezes exposing themselves
