used to not wear a sleeve
then wore a half-sleeve his sophomore coming off an injury
it turned into a full-sleeve and he's kept it because he's comfortable with it on.
Also - in case you were wondering, yes he can throw with that arm.
edit: he was later asked how far he can throw left handed, he said his dad is left handed and taught him, he can chuck it 30-40 yards (probably)
