Exactly, Chris. The list of individuals who can stroke a $6B+ check is thin. Then remove the folks the NFL won't accept (Russian oligarchs, Middle East royalty, cartel heads, etc) and the list goes from thin to anorexic.

The Snyder ownership drama is in some ways similar to the MASN nightmare the Nationals and MLB are dealing with, while you can imagine the end of the process and getting a new deal in place it just seems to drag on and on and on.

The Broncos sale seemed to be Step 1, Step 2, Step 3. Done.

Sounds to me like Snyder’s lawyers making veiled threats that the sale could be held up if Snyder doesn’t get assurances on some of the leagues report being held back. There’s too much momentum for this to be the case - with reports that the NFL finance committee has approved the Harris groups bid and the league owners voting in 10 days. Just one last pathetic attempt to wiggle out of culpability and it isn’t happening.
