WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- DC News Now's Sports Team sat down with Washington Commanders center Tyler Biadasz to talk about the off-season and more.

After the season last year, Biadasz said he got to travel and work out.

"After the season, got to go home and see the fans," he said. "I got to travel a little bit and work out."

Washington Commanders fans look ahead to NFC Championship Game

Biadasz said the opportunity to play is something he does not take for granted, and the off-season was "very productive."

During Biadasz's first year with the Commanders, he and the team went to the NFC Championships. Now, it's something he said "fuels" him and the team.

"You form this reality and the goal and vision, coming in every day, striving to be the best version of yourself so when you have that collective goal and energy, it really brings us to the bar," he said. "We have that energy about us."

Biadasz said for the team to head to the Super Bowl and take home a win for the city, they'll need to "be in the present moment."

"Being at camp and focused out there. We know what we do out here. We'll acclimate into the joint practices coming up, not even that, but even the next practice tomorrow. It's just about building those days and letting it play out and having that confidence of whatever situation that we're in that we can overcome," he said. "At the end of the day, it starts here and being in the present moment here."
