Micah Parsons' impending contract extension still has a lot of questions.
When will it get signed? For how much? Why is it taking so long?
But the Dallas Cowboys superstar made something clear in comments ahead of training camp: He's taking the right approach to things.
This is what Parsons told reporters this week:
"Like, to me, I look at it like if people don’t see your value, you don’t cry and sit down. You just work harder. You got to show people your value. I just think that’s, the difference, Like I go, okay, bet, and I just work."

That doesn't imply for sure whether Parsons will holdout from camp until the deal is done, but it shows he doesn't plan on letting the delay set him back.
This is one of the NFL's top players, a pass rusher who has had 12 or more sacks in each of his first four seasons in the league. He didn't get to this point by taking it easy.
And even now, with his contract frustratingly hanging in the balance, Parsons appears committed to the work it takes to stay at the top of his game.
It feels like even a bit more proof that yeah, the Cowboys should probably pay this dude.
