Bruce (Gabby) Boudreau won his 100th game as the Capitals head coach last night. He is the 4th fastest in NHL history to accomplish this feat, and the fastest Caps coach to ever do this. Congrats!!
"The only coaches to reach 100 wins faster were Boston’s Tom Johnson (138 games), Philadelphia’s Mike Keenan (152 games), and Calgary’s Terry Crisp (158 games). Boudreau slots into that list just ahead of Brent Sutter (167 games with New Jersey and Calgary) and Marc Crawford (168 games with Quebec-Colorado)."
Semyon Varlamov also became only the 6th goalie in NHL history to win 12 of his first 14 decisions - Varly's career record (not including playoffs) is 12-1-1.

And if you missed the game last night, you missed a gritty performance from Matt Bradley, who was only an assist away from a Gordie Howe hat trick (goal, fight, assist). He scored the GWG on a sweet breakaway in the 3rd period - awesome!
