Commanders Predicted For 'Rapid Improvement' In Offensive Rankings originally appeared on Athlon Sports.

What a difference a year makes. The Washington Commanders entered last season as an unknown quantity after a host of changes both on and off the field.

Now, they enter 2025 as an NFC big dog with Super Bowl aspirations.

Thanks to head coach Dan Quinn, general manager Adam Peters, and quarterback Jayden Daniels, the Commanders are ready to reload and go one better this upcoming season.

The additions of Deebo Samuel and Laremy Tunsil to an offense that was already explosive could be what tips Kliff Kingsbury's unit over the top.

And for Pro Football Network, in their latest offensive rankings, Washington comes in at No. 6.

"The Before Jayden Daniels era was grim, posting underwhelming Offense+ grades of 69.0, 65.9, and 64.7 from 2021-23, but all of that changed with the explosive QB at the controls (2024: 86.6)," Pro Football Network writes.

"As he develops consistency and Washington embraces a win-now philosophy that seemed like a pipe dream 12 months ago, there’s room for the Commanders to sustain their rapid improvement and flirt with the top spot in these rankings."

Considering how potent the unit was last season, adding Samuel, who is devastating as both a runner and receiver, will give Kingsbury another thread to pull.

Plus, the expected improvement of Daniels and the offense as a whole in Year 2 under Kliff is what gives fans hope and excitement that last season wasn't a flash in the pan.

Everything has been going smoothly this offseason (Terry McLaurin contract aside), as the Commanders look every part an NFC contender in 2025.

The offense will be the driving force again, with Daniels at the helm, McLaurin and Samuel as his passing weapons, Brian Robinson Jr. and Austin Ekeler out of the backfield, yeah, this is a top-10 offense in football.
