I don't know if any of the folks here have the time/inclination, but thinking back to the Doc Walker discussions in the v old days, I wonder whether some iteration of a BGO staff member doing anywhere between a 5-20 minute interview/discussion with a WFT personality of various stripes would be interesting. Maybe like once a week during the (off) season and less during the (off) season.
I don't think it has to be like super famous people to start, but once it gained momentum, maybe it could.
This would be much less 60 Minutes / Outside the Lines and much more Sports Machine in tone.
Classic anecdotes; inside (if very stale) information about the team, personalities and old stuff.
Could be old coaches, old executives, old players, old staff from RFK, really anyone that was more closely tied to the team that your average fan and maybe more adjacent to off-field things. More about the people as people as opposed to solely in the capacity performing an official function for the team.
Could even have like a BGO standard set of questions or two to finish the interview if it wasn't too kitschy. The classic "gas or charcoal" but hopefully much more interesting than that.
Just an idea as I was looking up what Karl Swanson was up to and found his LinkedIn profile and wondered if he'd be up for talking to one of us.
