In the 2008 offseason the Redskins dramatically rebuilt their defensive line, universally recognized as one of the teams' weaker areas for the past several seasons. On paper at least, with the additions of DT Albert Haynesworth, rookie DE/LB Brian Orakpo, the returns of DE's Phillip Daniels and Renaldo Wynn and even the surprise supplemental drafting of DE Jeremy Jarmon, that is the case no longer.
