Boone, I do know the feeling. As I read you post, I tried to remember a time when I didn't feel that way about our team. It was the Gibbs glory years that I rarely remember having the feeling we would blow it. I do not remember thinking, "Oh no, here we go again!" During those years we went out and beat the teams we were supposed to beat, most of the time, and usually came out on top of close ones.

I yearn for a return to a time where I can watch the Redskins go into the 4th quarter with a close lead, possession of the ball and eat the clock up with a time consuming drive where our RB runs all over a tired defense like we saw with Joe Washington and John Riggins or Ernest Byner and Gerald Riggs. One of the problems I see is that the NFL has made it tough for a team to do so.
