In 1983, six QBs were taken in the first round:

This draft is frequently known as the Quarterback class of 1983, because six quarterbacks were taken in the first round. Of these quarterbacks, four played in the Super Bowl, and three have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The next highest number of quarterbacks taken in the first round is the five taken in the 1999 NFL Draft. All six quarterbacks were drafted by American Football Conference (AFC) teams. In eleven of the sixteen years following this draft, the AFC was represented in the Super Bowl by a team led by one of these quarterbacks: the Denver Broncos by John Elway, the Miami Dolphins by Dan Marino, the Buffalo Bills by Jim Kelly, or the New England Patriots by Tony Eason.
This draft won't come close to matching that. Only time will tell if it can match it in overall talent as the first round of the 1983 draft featured 6 Hall of Famers and 15 pro bowlers.

To the best of my knowledge we have the following (and correct me if I'm wrong guys):

1st Round – 4th pick overall
2nd round – 37th pick overall
3rd round – used last year to get Jarmon
4th round – 101st pick overall
5th round – 132nd pick overall
6th round – To Miami for Jason Taylor
7th round – 196th pick overall

This doesn’t include any compensatory picks we may be awarded.

I think it was a rhetorical question. (pointing out not a good year to have traded away picks-though I still do a 3rd for Jarmon). I wonder what the comp pick picture is like.

Remember that in 1981 Beathard traded a 1982 #1 pick for a #3 and two #5 picks that year ina very deep draft for linemen.

The #3 pick was Russ Grimm and the second #5 pick was Dexter Manley.

Perhaps in 2010 we should deal a pick in 2011 and supplement our basket come April?

We could really use another #2 pick as the consensus is guys will be dropping to the mid second round that carry first round grades.

I think this could be a viable option since there is a lot of talent in the desperate area of need, OL. With additional picks in the second round, we could assemble a decent line that would start together for years to come creating that cohesion any good line needs.
