There was a cheap B movie about piranhas back in the 70's. I watched Jaws and never really was afraid to go back in the ocean, but after watching the Piranha flick I vowed to never go in the Amazon river!

Amazon ... Hell, I won't even go in the water here in Fl there's so many critters in there that can mess you up. Fish that bite, snakes native and invasive species, Nile monitor lizards, and of course gators.

Pete, when I lived in West Palm there was a kid who was killed by a Gator in one of my favorite kayaking spots up in Johnathan Dickinson State Park.

My biggest concern with the wildlife down there is the introduction of the python and other invasive species. That could completely destroy the Everglades.

Still, the piranha just creep me out!
