Yeah, I know these threads have been what we all lived for in December in previous years and I know things are like that this year. However, yours truly is a slave to traditions and as I have done this thread each of the last 3 seasons I just can't bring myself to not do it again this year.

As of 12/24 here is the First Round Draft order for 2013 per Walter Football.

  1. Kansas City (2-14)
  2. Jacksonville (2-14)
  3. Oakland (4-12)
  4. Philadelphia (4-12)
  5. Detroit (4-12)
  6. Cleveland (5-11)
  7. Arizona (5-11)
  8. Buffalo (6-10)
  9. New York Jets (6-10)
  10. Tennessee (6-10)
  11. San Diego (7-9)
  12. Miami (7-9)
  13. Tampa Bay (7-9)
  14. Carolina (7-9)
  15. New Orleans (7-9)
  16. St. Louis (7-8-1)
  17. Pittsburgh (8-8)
  18. Dallas (8-8)
  19. New York Giants (9-7)
  20. Chicago (10-6)
  21. Cincinnati* (10-6)
  22. St. Louis - from Washington* (10-6)
  23. Minnesota* (10-6)
  24. Baltimore* (10-6)
  25. Indianapolis* (11-5)
  26. Seattle* (11-5)
  27. Green Bay* (11-5)
  28. Houston* (12-4)
  29. San Francisco* (11-4-1)
  30. New England* (12-4)
  31. Atlanta* (13-3)
  32. Denver* (13-3)

Currently the Redskins first pick is 21st in the Second Round but it is 51st overall due to Cleveland forfeiting their second pick to take Gordon in the Supplemental Draft and the Saints losing their second round pick to Bountygate.

Additionally, the Skins have a total of 8 picks in this draft with an additional pick in the 5th round from Minnesota for the McNabb deal and an additional pick in the 6th round from NE for the Haynesworth trade.

I cannot believe we could end up seeing more than half the league with losing records... Does that seem abnormal to anyone else?

There have been an odd number of games played-15. There will be an uneven distribution between winning and losing records because there can be no .500 teams with an odd number of games played-the 16th regular season game should help even things out.

I'm shocked at Detroit's record.

I'm shocked at Detroit's record.

So am I, and more than a little intimidated that they will have two picks in the top 37 to add to a roster that I consider playoff worthy already.

Meh. 2011 was the exception, not the norm. The norm for the Lions has been suckitude. I think they will make the playoffs every other year or something like that, but nothing to be overly concerned about.

I love the fact that all the #1 picks the Rams get from us will now become late picks, thanks to RG3 propelling us to winning records so quickly. It makes those #1 picks not sound so costly anymore :D

We no longer have the conditional McNabb pick from Minnesota as he had to make the team, but we have a 5th rounder for Haynesworth and a 7th rounder from Detroit. For Kevin Barnes.

But McNabb did make the team. And he started for a number of games there.

Didn't we already use the McNabb pick ?
Isn't that how we got Alfred Morris ?

We got the 6th we used on Morris, plus a conditional pick in this draft that we may or may not get based on McNugget's PT.

If I remember correctly, the condition of the pick was that it was guaranteed a 6th, but could have been higher if he'd performed better.

Top of the order is now set. The Rams get no better than the #22 from us out of the Griffin deal.

Kansas City is now on the clock.

All of the talking heads that assumed that the Rams would be getting top 5 picks from us can just suck on it.

Okay, good. NFL Network was showing us with the 18th overall pick, which made no sense to me. Their graphic must be old I guess.

Yeah and Marshall Faulk was saying we can't win next week because we play on Saturday and its a short week.... dumbasses.

If he did say that he might be right but it would be impressive if the redskins won on Sat considering there game is Sunday

This is correct. Walter Football has it wrong. The McNabb deal is complete. We do have eight picks, but the extra are in the 5th and 7th.
