2012 Predictions Gone Wrong

Post things you said, on or off the board, before or during the season that you would admit were wrong/foolish/misinformed/or otherwise turned out not true (in the context of last season)

Mine:
We'll have a top 5 defense
Josh Wilson is a good cornerback
Niles Paul and Fred Davis will make an elite dual tight end threat
Cutting Graham Gano was stupid

ps - lanky, if you didn't chuckle after the josh wilson comment then you're lame ;)

LOL. I chuckled. :)

I feel like we already did this...we made "bold" predictions before the season, and then someone bumped it afterwards.

Oh, I was afraid of that :( Damnit. Are you sure you aren't thinking of the ones come true? I know we did that :\

Well, I found the original thread, but no bump. Anyway, here are my predictions:

Fred Davis not only avoids the reefer (and suspension), but he has a breakout year with 15TDs and 1100 yards. (earlier prediction)

With Helu & Royster hampered by injuries, Alfred Morris goes over 1000 yards rushing for the season and adds 10TDs.

RG3 doesn't commit a turnover until week 8.

Pierre Garçon is a top-5 WR this season, going over 1200 yards.

Brian Orakpo actually draws more than one holding penalty.

Oh, here's one I missed:
With my new game day pass or whatever it's called I'll make tons of blog posts about individuals less covered by the media, using videos and screen shots.

I wish I had time to find some of the outrageous crap I spewed about how there was no way we would make the playoffs, etc... but I don't have time... If someone wants to embarrass me, have at it. :D

EDIT: OKAY OKAY I FOUND A GOOD ONE.......

Hell I think 8-8 would be like winning the superbowl for this hot mess dressed up like an NFL franchise. Face it, we'll be lucky yes LUCKY, to win 6 or 7 games this year.
November 12th, 2012. So glad I suck at predictions!!!

I had this to say just prior to the season - glad I was wrong.

"RG3 will get injured in game one and go to IR for the entire season. The Redskins will finish with a record of 2-14 - tied for the worst in the league. The tie-breaker gives the Rams the second overall pick in the 2013 draft.

As a result, the Redskins will have the first pick in rounds two, four, and six along with the second pick in rounds three, five, and seven. An extra fifth rounder comes via the Pats.

In a major settlement this coming December, the NFLPA agrees to drop the collusion case as the Redskins and Cowboys are given back the money that was taken from them just prior to the opening of the 2012 season (other concessions are made as well - mostly minor)".

BBQ also had predicitons for each game. I never saw a seven game winning streak coming and had the team going 7-9. Glad I missed that too.
