The Redskins do an amazing job with their media guides, and they've just made their 2009 Media Guide available.

Used to be only sportswriters looked at these things. Now, the rest of us internet geeks can dive on in too. The internets are a beautiful thing. Pretty cool of the Redskins to give their fans free access to this as well

Thanks for what Mark?

Anyone who goes to Redskins.com and clicks on 'News' can access it.
Well, I guess I was being a little sarcastic, but in a friendly way. :)

Up to a couple-three days ago, the redskins.com news link gave you the 2008 media guide.

It's all good.

Yeah - believe it or not, I'm kind of a media guide addict, so I've actually been checking on it too. When I got to do coverage for ES, one of the things I noticed right away was that the media guys got their own copies - in fact the media room at Redskins Park had every media guide from the last decade just sitting there as resource material.

I coveted them.

A lot of incredible work goes into those things. I think some NFL teams have figured out fans want them and have started charging for them. I think it's way cool the Redskins haven't gone that route - yet. I hope they don't.

They're really addictive. I remember getting one around 1970 when it was still called a "Press Guide" and read it over and over again. I love reading the bios.

Just learned a cool fact......GA seats is only 66,400+ which is what I believe they take into account for the game being sold out.

So, it looks like it will be very, very unlikely we'll ever have blackouts even if the Skins continue to be mediocre.
