ASHBURN, Va. (DC News Now) -- The Washington Commanders are now two days into training camp for the 2025 season.
On Thursday, sports reporter Jake Rohm spoke 1-on-1 with Will Harris, as the safety gets set for his first season with the team.
Harris is getting set for his 7th season in the NFL, and playing on his third team. However the decision to come play for Washington was an easy one.
"What stands out is that standard," said Harris. "The way guys play for one another, the way guys lean into the coaching. I'm blessed to be able to be here and be blessed with this opportunity to play with some great guys."
For Harris, the excitement of playing for Washington is one thing, but being able to play with future Hall of Famers Bobby Wagner and Von Miller.
"Having guys like that right in front of you is even more motivation," said Harris. "Picking their brain and seeing how they see things is a humbling experience for me."
Harris will look to replace the production of Jeremy Chinn from a season ago at the safety position.
