Wait, I didn't get it.

Either way, I don't buy the oldest thing. As Tandler noted in his CSN article: "In all, of the ten oldest teams in the league, seven finished with records of .500 or better."

Maybe we'll look back at this news and know that we were all wrong, but for now, I don't think it matters much.

I'm just curious. Did he note which seven?
 
Well, they don't list the 7 of ten but in the article at the link we have this:

Three of the four oldest teams in football last year (New Orleans, Arizona, New England) won their divisions.
 
The reason I ask is because If a franchise put together a bunch of young guys and let them grow and build chemistry together as a team, I would expect that franchise to see some success when that team got older and that chemistry got stronger.

I'm not sure that's the model we have been following.
