ANNOUNCEMENT OF INACTIVES
LANDOVER, Md. – The Washington Redskins have announced the following inactives and lineup changes for today’s game against the New York Giants:
The Redskins declared the following players as inactive:
o No. 10 QB Robert Griffin III
o No. 22 CB Deshazor Everett
o No. 34 S Trenton Robinson
o No. 52 LB Keenan Robinson
o No. 73 DE Frank Kearse
o No. 74 G Arie Kouandjio
o No. 87 TE Je’Ron Hamm
On Friday, the Redskins placed No. 29 CB Chris Culliver on their Reserve/Injured list and signed No. 35 Dashaun Phillips (5-11, 182) to their active roster from the practice squad.
No. 23 DeAngelo Hall is expected to start in place of Trenton Robinson at safety.
No. 26 Bashaud Breeland is expected to start in place of Hall at cornerback.
No. 41 Will Blackmon is expected to start in place of Culliver at cornerback.
No. 51 Will Compton is expected to start in place of Keenan Robinson at linebacker.
The Giants declared the following players as inactive:
o No. 18 WR Geremy Davis
o No. 30 S Cooper Taylor
o No. 37 CB Leon McFadden
o No. 67 G Justin Pugh
o No. 70 C Weston Richburg
o No. 84 TE Larry Donnell
o No. 93 DE George Selvie
No. 45 Will Tye is expected to start in place of Donnell at tight end.
No. 61 Dallas Reynolds is expected to start in place of Richburg at center.
No. 74 Geoff Schwartz is expected to start in place of Pugh at left guard.
No. 77 John Jerry is expected to start in place of Schwartz at right guard.
