The Surefire Method To Making The Best Pick In Round 1

It's a great concept, but you've forgotten the Samoan and big guy principles. Danny can be Danny because he's not a wonder bread eating white boy. With a 350 lb Samoan, you almost want a cute name, like tiny. It also ties into the giant fat boy principle. Guys like Randy White, Dan Hampton, Dan Williams, Merlin, Reggie White, B.J. Raji, etc...

"Jameis Winston tastes good, like a quarterback should?"

I'll leave that one to you and your shrink. :)

Randy white, Randy gradishar were pretty decent Randy's

The name Randy isn't the problem. It's the Gregory part.

It's like when you meet a 35 year old guy who calls himself Timothy instead of Tim. A Tim can bring it. But a Timothy?

Granted, Gregory is his last name and it would be hard to change or shorten. But we're talking about NFL stardom here. His lack of willingness to address this obvious problem makes me question his drive.

Very valid points. But can we just ignore the huge elephant in the room?

Shelton.

What comes to mind when you hear the name Shelton?

A pubescent kid getting shoved into a locker in high school, right? A Napolean Dynamite type.

The warning signs are flashing. It's just too much for any player to overcome.

Gregory has attitude and off the field issues.

Ray is undersized and is going to end up a specialist in the NFL, not a three down player.

If we are going for an OLB I think it is either Fowler or Beasley.

I don't think you saw the satire in this thread.

Clearly anyone talking about Rambo being great has to be kidding

As for Rambo, he did intercept Aaron Rodgers. I'm certain that was only due to the power of his last name.

Actually, he had 2 against Rodgers, in that same game.

While he may not work out....it's too early to close the book on his career.

Of course.....wouldn't it be just like an ex-Redskin, to wait until after he leaves the Skins, before he starts excelling ?
Redskins typically either do that, or the opposite, they go from being dominant with another team, to taking a nose-dive after they sign with the Skins

I'll bet you Rambo doesn't start on any team by week 4.

Does this work for 2nd round picks too? Preston?

It works for all picks in every round.

When I toot my own horn even my dog leaves the room.
