OK sports fans, I do not possess the knowledge or connections of our Mock Draft Specialist, Burgundy Burner. I don't give a hoot in hell about college football, or whatever players might have done there. My approach will be a combination of Monkey and a dartboard, with the secretary filling out a March Madness bracket. The traits all my selections will have are, 1) A great/good name. 2) Good/great size. 3) They're Seniors.

So, without further ado, here is the definitive Redskins 2015 Mock Draft.

1st - OLB Vic Beasley 6'3" 246 lb Senior. Soon to be known as, Vic Beastley. aka Beast of the East

2nd - OT Jake Fisher 6'6" 305 lb Senior. Jake, a manly name. And Fisher, second only to, Hunter.

3rd - OG Tre' Jackson 6'4" 330 lb Senior. Tre' Jackson, Tre' Johnson. Whatever. It's Tre' baby.

4th - SS Zaquiski Tartt 6'1" 220 lb Senior. Are you ****ing kidding me? Jaquiski, AND Tartt? Sure fire perennial All-Pro once he becomes the starter.

5th - QB Sean Mannion 6'6" 230 lb Senior. Half man, half onion. Gruden gets his pocket guy. (Too slow to get out of the pocket;) )

7th - TE Nick Boyle 6'4" 268 lb Senior. Nick "Boyle That Cabbage Down". Great blocker. Surprising red zone threat.

7th - RB John Crockett 6'0" 217 lb Senior. Davy Crockett would be proud.

Thanks, Ax.

Ready for more choices. You don't have to make it an actual mock, just list some choices. Have fun with it.

I used the Fanspeak Mock Draft simulator, the NFL.com ratings and best-available-that-fills-a-need method to come up with this one. I doubt we'll end up with ANY of these guys based on my past predictions but what the heck. :)

Here's my stab at it and this is done with no trades...because who the hell knows what we get offered and for this exercise, helps me keep what little sanity I have.

Round One: Leonard Williams DE

I'll probably go flying through the air like Charlie Brown trying to kick that old football but I'm gong to say that since Scotty's on board and has made some fairly reasonable, low key signings in free agency, that we have finally found favor with the "football gods" and Leonard Williams, by some miracle, is there at #5 and we waste no time in getting our card to the podium. This means a legit shot at an upper echelon defensive lineman, something so rare to the Redskins. Rare like a sober McD5 at an Orlando Magic game....

Round Two: Cameron Erving C/G

A legit big body at center for the next ten years to shore up the middle. No more offseason stories about an undersized lineman chugging down 2 gallons of ice cream a night just to make it to 290 lbs. While Breyers and Blue Bell see their stock fall, Redskins fans sleep sound knowing we have legit beef in the middle.

Round Three: Stephon Anthony ILB

Although we miss out on Beasley this draft, getting his tag team partner is a nice consolation prize and gives us somebody to push Perry Riley to either get better or take a seat on the bench as a backup.

Round Four: Laken Tomlinson G

Watched him at the Senior Bowl practices on NFL Network and saw him handle everything Shelton dished out. Really need that type of anchor along the Oline .
Guy's as tough as a Coffee House steak.

Round Five: Kaleb Eulls DT

Hard working, lunch pail type that would be a good rotational player on the DL. Depth, depth, depth. We need it.

Round Six: Zach Zenner RB

Small school back who dominated in his conference. Isn't afraid to stick his nose into the blitz and pick it up and by all that I've read, has good hands and adjusts well to the ball in the pass game. If he makes it as our third down back, the ZZ Top references in the gameday chat will be endless. Besides, aren't we all tired of Om playing Jay & the Americans on gameday?

Round Seven: Chris Bonner QB

A 6'7" QB? Didn't know that Sasquatch could get recruited?
Skins take a chance on a big hunk of clay for Gruden to mold.

"And now you know.......the rest of the story...............G'Day.."

DP, I'd LOVE for Cam Erving to fall that far. Most of the mock I've seen have him either going to Denver or Seattle in the first round. It's DEFINITELY a no-brainer for McLovin if he slides.

If the Skins take Beasley with that pick, I will be super-pissed
Well, to quote a handsome, and sophisticated Marine, why?????

He might not make to 5.

Or we could trade back a few spots with someone looking to jump one of the WR's, and take him there.

I'm admittedly going on a hunch. But that hunch is, Beastley will be DRoY, wherever he lands.

fear...I get your thought process...but those previous picks? they are sunk costs.

If we do take an EDGE, I'd like to see if we could move Murphy inside.

I haven't seen any discussion of that yet. I wonder if he could move inside and be successful.

Murphy may be too heavy, and not fast enough to play inside.....but would like to see him compete with Riley if possible.

I think the plan would be, on 3rd, or obvious passing downs, Murf would move inside, and along with Kerrigan and The Beast, eat QB's and spit them out.

That makes sense Ax.

But if that's the case, I'm not sure a 3rd down EDGE is the best bang for the buck. I'd like to get a three down player.

I'd much prefer an O-lineman in that instance. Scherff, or this machine. I can't believe people aren't going crazy over this guy.

Possibly the single best O-line play I've seen in college in the last 5 years:

https://vine.co/v/hpm6dQH1mw6

First level, pancake. Second level, pancake. Third level, pancake with a concussion. All in the same play.

Let's get this beast.

He would work his way into being a 3 down guy. Starting out as a pass rush specialist will be plenty bang for the buck. He and Murf will combine for 20+ sacks from that position.

Also, in 4-3 packages, Murf could definitely handle the MLB position. It's ILB in a 3-4 that he doesn't seem to fit. Due to coverage skills. Or lack thereof.

The idea of Murphy playing inside is interesting because I remember that a scout Kiper talked to said that may be his future spot in the NFL. And this was a guy that followed Stanford.
