How Do We Explain What Happened After the Bye?

Prior to our bye week, even though we were 3-6, this team was usually in most games. The only game we got blown out was the Giants game. Every other game were were either leading/tied/down by 1 score or less heading into the 4th qtr.

In our 6 losses prior to the bye, we were outscored by 68 points or 11.3ppg.
In those 9 games, we also averaged 23.1ppg on offense.

Again, we weren't playing great, but we were competitive.

In the 4 games since the bye, we've been outscored by 70 points or 17.5ppg.
In those 4 games, we're averaging 11.8ppg on offense.

Before the bye, here's Griffin's line (2 games): 47/65, 518, 1/1, 8 sacks.
Here's his line after the bye (2 games): 34/51, 313, 1/2, 11 sacks.

Griffin went from looking decent in those 2 games before the bye to a total disaster after bye. Every single stat went down considerably after the bye.

So what happened to this team during that bye week? The offense has gotten worse, the defense has gotten worse, Griffin got worse. Was there something between the coaches and Griffin? Players and coaches? Coaches and FO? FO and players? How can a team just completely fall off the rails in such a short period? Something had to have happened during that time off and it certainly wasn't for the better.
