This is not a definite though, correct?I put this another thread, but seems more appropriate here. The Vegas people don't miss much--they may have this in mind already:
Don't be surprised at all if Amerson is suspended for the NYG game. In the scrum after Baker took out Foles, the cameras clearly caught Amerson jumping up and throwing a punch at someone. With him probably suspended, and DHall down, and Hatcher limited, we're going to need to score points.
Not that I've heard, no. Didn't mean to give that impression. This is not a definite though, correct?
No argument, really. So I'll just say that to me not all "must games" are created equal.I believe, no matter how good or bad a team is, in this League every Division game is a "must win" game. We only get 6 Division games & being down 1 already...we need to get this season rolling in a positive direction. If Cousins continues to light up defenses like he has, I see no reason to believe that we will start winning more games, hopefully starting this week against a weak Division opponent.
Mentioned that in chat yesterday, Om. A fine is coming and with the current climate in the media, you can bet Mara is in Goodell's ear about that scrum. Don't be surprised if Baker is out for Thursday, too.
I get the feeling the suspensions will be announced on the morning of the game...last minute, just like the cap penalty bullshit!
Week four and we're playing a "must" game if this team has realistic expectations of hanging in the division race.
Can't fall to 1-3, and 0-2 in the NFCE ... not with the Seahawks and @Cardinals on deck.
No excuses this week. NY isn't any better than we are on paper. This will be our first look at Jay Gruden's ability to get his team over a hangover loss and ready to take care of business at home.
