I didn't vote for him when he ran again Obama because I felt I'd rather have a radical democrat screw up the nation instead of a RINO pretending to be conservative. This is the guy who if he could would have chosen a democrat for his VP instead of Palin who actually energized people to reconsider McCain though it was obvious The Sleeper Cell Member in Chief was going to win no matter how much dark truth was unearthed (most was ignored anyway)I really see no difference in Sessions either. I Respect McCain's service but not the Political career.

This just in...… It's confirmed that Brett Kavanaugh repeatedly kicked a pregnant woman in, and around, the stomach area.

According to the DNC, the woman in question was Brett's mother. Even though Brett was not yet considered human, or even alive at the time, he did indeed, repeatedly, kick his own mother from inside the womb. How ungrateful.

I am voting straight GOP ticket and a lot of my fellow greybeards say they are too even though several of them smell of RINO but its better than team jackass on the far left. So what will be the result of the made for far left propaganda tv, High Tech Lynching 2, The Character Assassination of Kavanaugh? Going far back to high school to dig up dirt and hoping enough women and female illegal aliens and female bots will display enough outrage in polls to scare the spineless GOP into displaying being more of a wuss than they are to turn off GOP voters? they know what is at stake. Espscially with a deep state guy on the new project veritas bragging how he can't be fired because he is an obama holdover and part of the resistance.

As soul-less and morally bankrupt, sure. I just wish the R's would use the same scorched Earth playbook as the D's do when they have the power. But they don't. They're so scared of being labeled and then barbecued by the left wing whack job media that they won't do what they were elected to do.

The D's effectively use a, "**** you, you lost, suck on this" approach. The R's cower in fear of not being adored by Joy Friggin Behar, and continue to let the D's pretty much run the show. The D's don't just try to win, they try to destroy. And their tactics are far more brazen than the R's. Mainly because they have 90% of the media in their back pocket.

There are damn few R's that are effective, positive Congressional leaders.
There are no D's, in the Senate, none, nada, zilch, that are good for anything at all. And probably only a handful, or less, in the House. They aren't fit for alligator bait.

So while the R's might be 80% useless, the D's are 100% useless. And dangerous to boot. They are clearly the worse of the two, IMHO.

I'm sorry, I simply disagree with this. The latest bullshit tactic being used by the Dems is proof of what the DNC has become. Obama brought a level of corruption to DC I had never seen, not even when Bill Clinton was President and Hilary was running around executing people. Obama had her on the team pulling her tactics while he, Harry Reid, and Nancy Pelosi...the entire DNC leadership trampled over any rule or law in their way, with a media that sheltered them from any recourse for their actions.

The GOP is not immune from their own bullshit, but the level at which Obama and his minions were corrupt has never been matched...never in my lifetime, at least. We'll see how Trump turns out, at least a this point it looks like the majority of the "scandals" have been manufactured to impede him.

I think a lot of crooked roads lead straight back to Obama. If Mueller was after him, with half the desperation he's going after Trump in this made up Russian collusion fantasy, he'd be convicted by now. And the swamp is doing everything they can, illegal or not, to protect "The 1st Black President".

Well, I have been watching this battle over the border wall progress for weeks as they use the government shut down as leverage. All the while watching those opposed to the "racist monument" suggest walls don't work, suggest that only a small portion of the drugs entering the country come through areas w/out a fence, suggest the border is not dangerous, and suggest how inefficient it would be...all the while misrepresenting the arguments of those in favor.

I had 2 things to say to anyone who opposed the wall...

1.) If walls don't work, then why are the thousands of immigrants in Tijuana Mexico and not Sand Diego and Los Angeles?

2.) If you want to know what it's like on the border, just ask a border patrol agent to see what they say...ever notice the left wing propagandist wing of the media never interviews border agents?

CNN contacted a local San Diego TV station to see if they'd do a puff piece on the wall, so KUSI sent CNN copies of stories they'd run over the last year, all in favor of the wall. CNN never used any of the material because it did not fit their narrative.

While I simply despise Donald Trump the man, I gotta hand it to him in certain areas, especially how he treats certain media dickheads...he is perhaps the world's best social media troll. He uses Twitter perfectly to get his message out, often at the expense of the opposition. I just wish the asshat would understand diplomacy a little better. If he wasn't so combative with every issue, and learned to be 40% more tactful, his approval rating would be in the 60's.

Not completely true about any and all border agents. I've heard several here state they don't think it would help much, especially not for the cost sink it would be.

Now, that could be selection bias, and speaks nothing for any other state. But it really seems like Texas isn't really desirous of the wall for those directly affected by it.

Sadly, CNN isn't even as left wing as you can go, they're only a 2 or 3 on the scale to 10. The other ones get really crazy with their idiocy. CNN just does the occasional lie of omission.

And why have the Dems funded much more expensive walls in many places around the world? e.g., Jordan.

The evidence is pretty compelling on the damage done - as is the Dems (plus Republiccan uniparty types) complete refusal to acknowledge what is going on. Trump's stats were accurate - the TX AG was on TV last week with amazing stats from just last year.

Reason I asked and brought it up, is because it was still etched in my memory, at a time when another very relevant thought came to my mind, to tie into it.
I still couldn't find it here, so I searched the net for the meme and I'll post it. Then you can let me know if you originally posted and it rings a bell, or if I have you confused with someone else. And also to hear your thoughts on the "analogy" I came up with.
So this meme shows an apparent contradiction in the liberal gun views.
Another one that came as a revelation to me is this :
They are always pushing for stricter gun laws to the absolute extreme.
Yet they also are against a strict border control - the place where thousands of the worst guns come from.
So, tell me, am I onto something. Or am I missing something in that arena ?

I do not remember the meme to be honest, but it's a valid point...how do they defend themselves if they don't trust the cops and don't have guns? And I am not sure about the "worst guns" coming from across the border. Right now the gun of focus is the AR-15 because it looks menacing. It is made in the USA.

There is tremendous hypocrisy on the gun issue from the left, and many of those Hollywood elitists who make millions in the shoot em up movies with fake guns that fire 600 rounds before needing to be reloaded, are the biggest of them all.

The gun control issue is less about guns at this point as it is about controlling the populace. A well regulated militia, that's a heavily armed populace, is harder to control and that's what they want...control. They won't admit as much, skewing the truth about guns to make banning them a popular talking point.

This country was created by every day people, standing up to an armed tyranny. They were armed and able to protect themselves and understood as long as we could defend ourselves, the fascists of the world could not be in control.
