I thought of that possibility too. Snyder will never get the benefit of the doubt though, and his past history probably earned him that.
 
Dan Snyder deserves the reputation he has earned, but **** Jason Reid.

Yea probably. I have to ask though and this is a big IF I realize, but if Snyder turns over a new leaf and becomes an owner we've all wanted (ie hire football people like Mclovin, sign paychecks and get out of the way) how long does the guy have to be in that mode before he gets credit for being that way? Some of the stuff he gets slayed for is over a decade old but you'd think it was yesterday, again probably earned. I'm not saying Snyder has suddenly turned "nice" or ever will but I guess he's going to need a walker before he gets a chance to build a new rep for some practices.

I don't care if he was trying to launch his own career or to get famous. I just care about the final result in this situation.

Sometimes someone has to be the a-hole. And he's a huge a-hole. (I'm blocked on his twitter for bashing him)

But if it helped to get Bruce out of here, and McLovin in here, then that's one a-hole that every Redskins fan should appreciate.
 
He could change all that by making himself accessible to the media. He chooses not to, and he frequently engages in petty acts that reinforce the worst possible image. Dan Snyder is a lot of things, but I don't think 'victim' is among them :)
 
ESPN 980 is a strange animal.

With the Nationals and Caps winning teams and hoping to advance in the playoffs they are almost never discussed.

But with the Redskins and Wizards losing in recent years they were the area teams that got attention. Of course negative attention.

This year the Wizards started off strong and then slumped. I noticed again more coverage after they started to swoon.

It's just a negative culture over at that radio station.

I am convinced the Redskins could finish 13-3, win the Super Bowl and somebody over there would be critical because the team only won the SB by 3 points when favored by 7 :(

Actually, he did a couple of interviews up here over the season...one lengthy one with Chick Hernandez. Granted, it was a puff piece, but it was like 20 minutes, if memory serves.

I knew Jones eventually was going Togo back to the well of troubled athletes.

He stayed away for awhile but Dallas and Oakland are still the halfway houses in the NFL.

From whatI heard this AM on ESPN Hardy has a long history going back to college of drinking heavily, missing curfews, team meetings, etc.

Evidently in college he went AWOL for an entire week and then showed up on Saturday in uniform hoping to play.

Jones has been lucky that Dez Bryant his other problem child has stayed out of trouble and developed into an elite player.

We will see if lightning strikes the second time out.

I am pretty pissed we resigned McCoy, so we now have the same three QB's on this team as we did last year, and Gruden benched them all. Waste of money to resign McCoy unless the plan is to trade Griffin or Cousins. I am trying to stay positive on this, but the Gruden is a moron thoughts are already creeping back into my head......

Ohh that's right he started colt with a neck injury, that only lasted about a quarter. Colt ****ing McCoy are you kidding me??? Why even waste the roster spot or money. Colt McCoy, give me a break.
