The league is probably still going to suspend Foster for 4 or 6 games in 2019 under the conduct policy.

But I don't see that as a major barrier, from what SF fans are saying Foster is really raw and likes to freelance outside of the called defense so he is going to need some work.

Great... LaVar 2.0. Wonder if he'll blame everyone but himself, just like LaVar, or did the team get that out if its system with DJ Swearinger?

From what I can glean from the SF fans Foster is a bit of a wildcard and not in the mold of uber coachable players from Alabama like Allen and Payne.

Hopefully Rueben plays good enough we can get a draft pick out of him

Among highest sacks but also among highest for opposing team pass completion percentage: only 5 teams had a higher percentage. Makes sense: DC's atatck scheme plus poor LB coverage abilities = easy dink & dunk strategy. And that's what I saw all season long. A decent pass rush that was still a second to 1.5 secs short of being consistently disruptive. We also allowed one of of the longest TD passes (by yardage).

Skins were also 15th in run defense (worse than I expected with) with 4.5/yds an attempt. Not good enough for what was supposed to be a strength.

If the lb core gets straightened out then all categories you mentioned will get better. Having an actual pass rusher opposite Kerrigan would have disrupted even more, along with atleast somewhat better covering skills.

It'll get better. but secondary needs a lotta work before it becomes playoff/championship quality.

As Doc Walker said we dont effectively set the edge on defense and that calls into question what we can do vs the run to improve further.

Pass defense is a joke. For what Norman is being paid we should be able to sign TWO mid-tier corners like the Eagles did in 2017 and compete at a higher level.

Neato......

I wish someone at the park was paying attention to what the Colts just did to the Texans Dline......

Quentin Nelson and Co. flat out whipped Watt,Clowney and Co.

It starts with being healthy up front, first.

Understood.

Got a huge hole at LG the team has refused to address.

We also have alot of folks in the fanbase that think it's silly to spend high picks on Olinemen.

4 out of the five Olinemen on the Colts are top 50 picks.

Redskins have spent two #1's on OL (Williams and Scherff) a #3 on Moses.

I would continue to build depth on the OL through the draft but one would think we can get a better guard than Lauvao in free agency if necessary to start right away.

It's ironic that the Redskins keep trying and failing to sign free agents on the OL on the cheap and then resign Lauvao year after year as a stop gap while we throw away dollars on other FA like Stacy McGhee and millions on Paul Richardson.

There is a picture of Snyder's $70 million yacht all over the internet.

I haven't had a base salary in 35 years and I'm a huge capitalist.

How about $65 million and an extra $5 million in trying to win games?

Yep, and a #3 on Spencer Long. Remember him?

He was the guy we picked after trading down with Dallas that allowed them to use our #2 to take pro bowl rusher DeMarcus Lawrence.

And where is Spencer today?

New York Jets.
