Senator Sessions event with ICE agents describing new policies from the Obama administration that are essentially allowing illegals into the country on the spot? Better yet...the new policy on "prosecutorial descretion"?

Any time our agents (through any of the agencies) are not allowed to do their job because of some agenda like this it is disturbing. If you want to change the laws/policies then it should be done in the public record and held accountable by voting; not like this.

t...recognizing that many of your political instincts favor a more...let us say...understanding approach to things than mine...not all.....that's what this admin has been doing all along with executive orders, czars, regulations that implement what Congress has voted down, etc. they have this fixed notion of what is "just/right" and what they can't achieve through legislation....they will implement through other means...even if it means violating the law.

How is prosecutorial discretion a "new" policy? Doesn't that happen every day in America? Prosecutors decide who they will prosecute and for what charges?

I understand that people think all illegals should be instantly locked up and deported, but that's a huge logistical problem.

The situation in El Paso is another story...seems like its got to be some sort of mistake. They had him for assaulting an officer and just let him go? Come on...

you are unaware of what is going on. do some research....memos have been issued from DHS to border guards to practice "prosecutorial discretion"...all intended, of course, to get around the law.
