Well it's no wonder we've only had one great 1st round QB in 65 years. Look at our weak attempt at it. What's truly amazing is that we've only drafted 9 First Round QB's TOTAL, in 65 years, if those numbers are correct. That's a dismal attempt at correcting a problem, considering how awful we've been at QB for many of those years.

Well, it certainly looked like we made a big effort to improve at the QB spot from 1955-1961. Sheesh.

However, since we weren't letting black players on the team at that time that probably had something to do with our performance.

Not to mention inept management and coaching. Franchise QB's don't HAVE to come in the first round but when you think you have one, you'd damn well better build a good team around him.

Otto Graham had a pretty good offensive mind but he was just NOT a Head Coach. The Skins defense during his tenure was horrible. Other than Chris Hanburger, Brig Owens and an aging Sam Huff, the defense was a turnstile.

I always wonder what would have happened if Vince Lombardi hadn't gotten cancer and was able to stick around a few more years.

Praying RG3 ends up more like Sammy Baugh than Norm Snead. ;)
